REFUND POLICY

All registrations are final .
Full refund (minus processing fees, if any) is available if a cancellation request is made before the deadline.
Partial refund may be issued before the first game only if a suitable replacement player/team is found.
No refunds will be issued once the season has started or games have been played.
Missed games due to personal reasons, injuries, weather, or team availability are not eligible for refunds.
If the league is cancelled by the organizer, participants will receive a full or prorated refund, depending on games played.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days.

Liability & Assumption of Risk Policy

Participants acknowledge that sports involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury.
By registering, players voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
The league, organizers, staff, referees, sponsors, and facility owners are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses occurring before, during, or after games.
Players confirm they are physically fit to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

Participants agree to release and hold harmless the league and its affiliates from any claims arising from participation.
This release applies to personal injury, property damage, or loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The league does not provide personal injury or medical insurance for participants.
Players are responsible for their own health and accident coverage.

In the event of an emergency, the league may seek medical assistance on behalf of the participant.
Any medical costs incurred are the sole responsibility of the participant.

By registering for and/or participating in any AreaGames event, league, tournament, clinic, drop-in session, or related activity, participant must understand and acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the AreaGames Waiver, Policies, Code of Conduct, Media Release, and all event rules published by AreaGames.

By registering for and/or participating in any AreaGames event, league, tournament, clinic, drop-in session, or related activity . participant must understand and acknowledge that AreaGames events may be photographed, video recorded, livestreamed, or otherwise broadcast. I grant AreaGames and its representatives the unrestricted right to use my image, likeness, voice, name, gameplay footage, photographs, and recordings for promotional, marketing, educational, social media, website, livestream, archival, and commercial purposes without compensation or further notice.

By registering for and/or participating in any AreaGames event, league, tournament, clinic, drop-in session, or related activity . participant must understand and acknowledge that they waive any right to inspect or approve the finished media content and release AreaGames from any claims arising from the use of such photographs, video recordings, livestreams, or other media, including claims relating to privacy, publicity, or copyright.

Photography, videography, and livestreaming may occur at Areagames events. By entering the venue, participants and spectators acknowledge and consent to incidental capture and use of their image and likeness in AreaGames media content.

All participants are required to sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any league activities.
By registering for the league, participants confirm acceptance of the waiver, rules, and all league policies.
